Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February the 12th, with prayers from the residenceĀ of Mrs. McLeod Ross at 2 p.m. followed by service in Ulverton United church at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the United Church Cemetery.

At Hot Springs, South Dakota, on Thursday, February 4, 1960, Hector Prevost, beloved son of the late Toussaint Prevost and the late Marie Mastha in his 66th year, formerly of Sherbrooke. Remains resting at Gerard Monfette Funeral Parlor, 33 Bowen AVen South funeral service on Saturday, February 13 at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame de L’Assomption Church. Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Tambs, Mary Theresa
Milby — Miss Mary Theresa Tambs passed away here on Feb. 4, 1960, following a long illness. She was in her her 95th year.
Miss Tambs, daughter of the late Edward August Tambs and Theresa Jane Bompas Tambs, was born in Bury on May 30, 1865 and came to Milby in early childhood.
She was educated in Milby and Sherbrooke and lived for many years in Waterville with her uncle the late Rev. Robert C. Tambs, and his sister, returning to Milby after his retirement. Following the death of her sister, Miss Annie Tambs, she operate the Cottage Tea Room in her home.
She was a member of and life long worker of St. Barnabas Church and St. Barabas Guild a charter member of the Milby’s Women’s Institute.
Surviving Miss Tambs are her nieces and nephews: Mrs. Alberta Trembly, Alliston, Ont; Mrs. Wells Bishop, Lachute; Ronald Stokes, Bury; Mrs. L. French, Wellesley Hills, Mass.; Mrs. D. Jacobs, Portland, Me.; Mrs. D. urwick, Granby, Conn.; Karl A. Deware, Townsend, Mass., and Robert Deware, Wellesley Hills, Mass.
The funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. Feb 8 at St. Barnabas Church, the rector Rev. D.F. M. Robert, officiating. Bearers were Alvin Allen, Kenneth Orr, Edwin George and Everett Beattie.
Interment was in Milby Cemetery.
